Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)
What is UAV?
A UAV, or Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, is a type of aircraft that operates without a human pilot onboard. Also known as drones, UAVs are controlled remotely by a human operator or autonomously by onboard computer systems. They come in various sizes and configurations, from small quadcopters to large fixed-wing aircraft.
UAVs have diverse applications in numerous industries, including aerial photography, surveillance, agriculture, environmental monitoring, search and rescue operations, and package delivery. They are equipped with cameras, sensors, and other instruments to perform a wide range of tasks efficiently and cost-effectively. The ability to operate in dangerous or hard-to-reach areas without risking human lives makes UAVs invaluable tools in various scenarios.
Continual advancements in UAV technology, including improvements in battery life, artificial intelligence, and communication systems, contribute to expanding their capabilities and unlocking new possibilities for their applications across various sectors.
